I have a 1997 Rem 700 DMB in .260 Rem and I have not found a more accurate factory round for this rife. I have taken whitetail deer from as close as 60 yards and as far as 330 yards. All have basically fallen where they were shot. My only concern was on the close shots where the bullet appeared to fragment more than I liked without a full bullet pass through however. At some point I would like to try a box of Fed fusion or Rem core-lokt ultra bonded just to see how they shoot in this gun and the actual performance on a whitetail deer. When and if, I will post.
